mk1its
Hi guys We've hit a snag whilst converting the TT Auto to Manual using a W58 gearbox purchased from Aspire earlier this year. It seems the speedo on the Auto box was electronic whereas the speedo on the W58 is mechanical ie. wire? Is this right???? If so, what do we need to do to make the mechanical speedo work? JODY T
It's not mentioned because it should be the same.. All u need to do normally is plug it in.. Was ur w58 from a supra originally? If it was mine did egg the correct supra one and fit that, rather than a converter as the cost will prob be the same JT

Homer
The w58 I had was from another supra and the plug was exactly the same as on the auto loom. I didn't need to change anything with the speed sensor, simply plugged it in and everything worked as it was intended My guess is your w58 isn't from a MKIV supra.
