Gretie22
Looking for a new alternator on a budget, am I right in thinking that an alternator from a Lexus GS300 is the same as the supra? Here is one I've found, will it fit?
GreaseMonkey
Checking against part No.s on http://www.toyodiy.com/ the Lexus GS alternator is a different part No and Amperage rating to the one used on a Twin Turbo Supra. Also might have different plug/ connector on back as well. It might fit and do as a temp but I'm personally sceptical and wouldn't bother with the GS300 one you've posted up unless I knew otherwise, hth. Gretie22
Hmm can't find one with that part number. Found this one on eBay: http://bit.ly/1gjNS6A but looking at the cross reference part numbers 27060-46120 isn't on there, plus it's only 80amps. I'm so confused right now, I've been told the gs300 would fit, I've been told it might not fit, I've read that the amperage shouldn't matter too much if I'm not running to much electrics. :/
