scott87
Just went to had my car power tested before all the na-t work starts on her over the next few weeks. Pretty dam impressed with the results considering it is just a decatted car!

Big Supes
You've got a solid base there.
st3ven1
Is that rwhp? If it's fwhp then it's down a bit on the standard car.
safcdixon
Is that rwhp? If it's fwhp then it's down a bit on the standard car. Remember its 19/20 years old, so isn't bad when you take into consideration a little loss over the years 1hp a year is good going compared to the rate some motors lose hp
Rich.2211
Out of interest what is the RWHP? I had mine on Dynodaze dyno when it was N/A and so did a few other members but we all received RWHP figures as oppose to FWHP.
scott87
I was wrong so deleted. Edited October 27, 2013 by scott87 (see edit history)
Josh42
Dyno daze have posted this on their Facebook and quoted it as bhp which tends to indicate FWHP and therefore will not include transmission losses. Figures for transmission losses tend to differ, however I think the general agreement is that is around 12-13%. 206bhp is more like 181.28 rwhp using 12% as the loss calculator. I think that's a good figure and very similar to the results of most other NA's I've seen run

scott87
No fussed either way. Great base for going Na-t over the next few weeks
Scott
Anything over 200hp for these cars, given the age, is great IMO. A difference of a few HP won't make much noticeable difference, but when you're planning on seriously upping the power it's good to know that your engine is still running fairly tight before you start
Rich.2211
I'm pretty sure that's FWHP. Still a good figure though!
