For just a brand new V160 bo from MVP in America is £4500 ex tax and etc iirc bud. Your looking at around £3500-£4000 for everything to go manual using a 2nd hand box. It's upto you if you want to recondition it or etc

Shit the bed. :D

The V160 is pretty robust, right? Think I'll go second hand providing we coud source a relatively low mileage box from a stock-ish power car.

You also need to factor in the labour costs as well as clutch, clutch pedal, the tunnel panel needs to be changed etc

Maybe see if Lee can source you one and also get a price for labour if you were to source the 6 speed yourself.

Ahh, right. Hopefully Lee will be able to give me a quote for the lot. If needed, I don't mind sourcing parts if he can give me a list of what he'll need.

Another thing you would need to factor in, with regards to a brand new V160 from either MVP or Toyota, is that the box does not come with the shifter assembly/cradle, not that i would know ;)

Mmmmm, shiny new gearbox... I am jealous of your lack of knowing about this! :D
