Engine build..

I'm going to be buying another engine in the next week from parry on here for a na-t build.. Engine has 40k on from keron..

Head is off and cams out etc

I want to take my time with it and make a good job of it..

What's best to replace or change for a na-t?

Head has already had a very light skim.. I was thinking of doing the valve stem Seals and having the head pressure tested before fitting a TT HG and putting it back together..as I know this can be a weak point

Will fit brand new, water pump & crank pulley, stat etc

Is there anything else that would be recommended? Or would definitely change? Or anything that would be worthwhile getting done?

Piston rings etc? I don't want to spend a fortune and I think it's one of those things where you could easily go overboard and start being silly replacing everything at great cost.. But I do want it to be reliable and hold good power 4-500 bhp reliably

Any advice would be good

Shopping list would be fantastic!

Thanks :)

Rob

Thanks guys

rich yeah that's going to be top of my list, probably send the head away to be done so I don't break it :p

Dazzi good shout on the seals too although I've heard they can be a massive ball ache lol unfortunately head is already off so I can't do a leak down

Think I may have to have some help with it all though I'm running out of tools and knowledge already haha
