Changing number plates

How do I go about transferring a registration number from one car to another? (Both cars are mine if that makes any difference)

 

Do I need a form from the post office or can I do it online?

 

Anyone know?

Quickest way is to go to a local DVLA office. Some do it there and then others you fill in the forms and they send everything within a couple of days. Otherwise it's pick up the forms from post office (? I assume) and post to DVLA Swansea.

Local DVLA office is the quickest route provided both cars are taxed, MOT'd and the reg docs are okay. Mine was completed within 2 days.

So I just turn up there with the log books, tax discs and MoT docs? I don't need to bring anything else? Sounds easy enough.
