Fly
Hi mate, Do you need to boost over 7 PSI? Are you planning/changing your fuel injectors or fuel pump? I have never used a manual boost controller so i cannot comment there.

scott87
Dont ever fit a MBC they are the Devil Ok thanks. So am i right in thinking that just fitting a 7psi wastegate should do the job then?
MattP
Consult the bible .....http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?279627-FOSTA-S-how-to-fit-a-basic-NA-T-kit It appears the wastegate spring is the basic method of control but im no expert Edited October 23, 2013 by MattP (see edit history)
scott87
Been told a boost controller is a must by someone. Is this true, would it not be a good idea to have the wastgate set to 7psi, hoping thats ok for stock na engine, then set then boost controller aswell just in case one were to fail.>
Rich.2211
I'm not a running a boost controller on mine, boost is being controlled solely by the wastegate spring. It isn't the best method, which is the reason I'm in the throws of buying a GReddy Profec B Spec II, but it works fine.
