so I have a blitz sbc I'd 3 boost controller and power meter, when I'm on boost at about 1.09 bar the car cuts for a second or so and the engine management light comes on then goes off again, however if I switch off the boost controller the car pulls fine and reads about .89 bar and no cutting out, hasthe boost controller had it or is it something else boost related? Thanks dave

Feels like it too tbh what would cause it? the controller has been in the car ages and I've never had an issue until now.

Not having a fuel cut defender would be the issue. Colder temps would increase boost spikes leading to it boosting over 1.0bar which is where fuel cut is triggered.

Easy way to solve is to re-adjust the boost back to 1.0 or to fit an FCD.

Ok just had a look there is a greddy boost limiter cut controller in the car, is this a fuel cut defender?

Yeah that's the chap. Maybe it needs adjusted or something? If that's in and it was working, something has changed. I'd recommend you take it somewhere for a look.

I've just had the car back as the star wheel came of the crank timing pulley so the car has been sat for a week with the battery disconnected, would this of had an effect on it? I see there is a little screw for adjusting it inside the controller

Bit strange, the green and the white wire are not connected to anything! How did this ever work? As the car had run fine set to 1.2 bar until now, The green wire was taped off at the end and the white is just hanging there, image
