heckler
Me either. HID system (aftermarket, even the OEM ones on my Disco 3) only use the stock wiring as a "signal" to turn the lights on, as all the power is generated by the Ballast. Its not like the days of sticking in 120 Watt Bulbs into a car that's designed to use 55 Watt - that will melt the looms!
Alex
What's Tri Xenon? Sounds like some silly marketing name.
johnny g
Maybe they meant "try xenon" it's much better than halogen
Richienoble
Yeah I didn't think there was a way they could melt the harness working off the 12v feed as you said the power comes from the ballast. Tri xenon is dip, main and fog lamp sorry for the confusion lol
Alex
Main beam shouldn't be Xenon. Due to the charateristics required - like flashing. Well I'm yet to see an after market kit that allows for that. Mine is Bi-Xenon and tbh you'll not need a full beam.
drift_bear
Should be ok, I've always used knight racer kits and had no problems

I have fitted and tested the main/full beam functions ok not sure how long it will last for tho only time will tell haha.
Richienoble
Has any of you used the led xenon hid kits?? Are they any good??
Alex
LED is not Xenon...more marketing BS. What you might get is a Super bright LED that's very white...but Xenon it certainly isn't and I'm willing to bet the beam throw is pathetic.
