berg
Well i have an oil leak and i think the cause was a newbie error when i built my engine back up i didnt put any sealant on the first 2 camshaft bearing caps Question is can i take the 1 cap off apply sealant and refit or will i need to loosen all the caps in sequence again? Lee P
The front caps can be removed with out worrying about sequence. They are fitted with RTV sealant around the edge, tighten to 22nm
Dazzi
As Lee said, also did you put RTV at both sides of the front caps (on the head) when installing the cam covers with new seals?
