What is this pipe for?

Its the long green pipe that goes up to the top of the picture it went through a series of rubber pipes and hardlines through the side of the engine bay then down back under the subframe where it exited to nothing. Any ideas?

Also the rubber pipe that comes out the passenger footwell is it some kind of heater matrix overflow?

It does bypass where the charcoal canister was so I assume it was for that at some point. Where does the rest of the pipe lead to underneith the car? I assume it can all be removed. Same as the aircon so the big rubber pipe can go?

Ive not had a look at the heater matrix properly but mine needs replacing which I'm wondering if the whole aircon part can be removed as the gas pipe connector sticks out into the engine bay?

You need to remove the aircon matrix from inside the main heater box to get rid of the pipework that comes through into the bay. There is a cover that can be removed sort of more above passenger footwell area. I'm sure you will see what I'm talking about when you get to the heater box. I think I have some pictures of all the work I done on mine somewhere, should be in my build thread. The heater matrix is a different part entirely.
