Jellybean
Did anybody do this mod yet? Was thinking it may lighten up my clutch pedal M/C from a FZJ75 / FZJ80 Cruiser had the same flange and a reservoir which could be swapped for the JZA80 one http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/tech-conversions/78805-how-make-3-4-jza80-clutch-master-cylinder.html
Pulley
I've just done this mod to generate enough travel to operate my triple plate osgiken (fully disengage and engage ) Easy mod , I bought 2 land cruiser masters so I have a spare converted one actually
Guest SupraV8
It will make the pedal heavier, not lighter.
Chris Wilson
If you want a really light clutch put a servo on it. Skyline R33 and R34 GTR's have a clutch servo as stock, but few seem to realize this.
Chris Wilson
It will make the pedal heavier, not lighter. Correct, and you may well need a pedal stop to avoid bearing over travel if you use a bigger master to make a marginal setup release fully. Vice versa a smaller bore master, whilst giving a lighter pedal, may not fully release the clutch....
Slutters
Also done this mod several months ago, fixed my issue of my Spec Super Twin not disengaging at high RPM's. If you are ok with a welder, a 2 bolt 38MM wastegate flange can be used to mount to the chassis, then weld 2 studs for the master cylinder to it.
