would there be any sense in upgrade the front brake discs and pads and use the stock TT caliper?

 

If you mean the larger 4 piston caliper then yes.

 

what discs can people recommend ?

I've a set of as new Hawk high performance pads to suit these disks as well.

 

 

If I wasn't slightly retarded I wouldn't have any of these available to sell.

For normal use i wouldn't bother, stock discs and pads work very well, well they did on my car

with the uk set up along with braided lines and new brake fluid

 

And they're cheap in comparison to most other set ups, especially the discs

Of course, but it depends on budget and what they are going to be used for.

 

I would not use this setup on a road car due to the extra noise, on track is different, after a hard track session I pulled into the pits and the dust caps had melted and were dripping onto the floor :D
