LOGIE
Does anyone know how much power steering fluid our supras take? Complete refill from empty, ie reservoir, steering rack pipes. Im guessing 2-3 litres but ive been wrong before. Also is it dexron 3? Cheers.

Steering rack alone would prob hold that, then there is the cooler, pipes, pump. Cheers for info on dexron mate.

SPG
Logie can you post back in here with the amount you managed to drain out of the PS System please
Iky
I think its not much more than 1 litre if even than. When you think about it- The rack is a hollow tube but there is big rod inside it so fluid only occupies the space between. Similar thing in the pump, there's very little space for the fluid. The reservoir is only supposed to be about half full when you check the level dip stick. The rest is just in the pipe work.
