LOGIE
Is it possible to change these without removing the turbos and inlets, the reason im thinking of changing is the engine has the facelift weaker ones fitted and I have a set of the older stronger ones lying in the garage. TheTurtleshead
Intake Side- Remove the oil filter Housing from the block. 1 Big nut and two water pipes with clips. Exhaust- Remove downpipe/cat, then the collector section above that(3 more nuts). Then it's just 4x 14mm bolts each side. Defo do it now whilst it's not in the car...!! Much easier. You'll need 1x shorter bolt each side, as the facelift ones use a longer bolt in one hole due to the shape. I have the original bolts from the pre facelift brackets.
TheTurtleshead
Nah the gaskets will go again if they're in good condition.
