Sheefa
I'm sure Chris Wilson raves about these mate. What model number is it? This one? http://www.optimabatteries.co.uk/en/16-optima-redtop-r-37-reverse-terminal-positive-on-right.html I'm sure Jamie P had one and it ran well. No warranty though if off your mate so I would be inclined to get a Halfords one bud. Scott
Red tops aren't very good. I've killed a couple of them. They need constant looking after, so aren't ideal for cars like ours. Yellow tops are the best, as far as optima goes, IIRC.
peter richards
hmm ok thanks , not sure greg what model it is , the battery was only ever used as a back up to a generator , so not been used , the one on the car is only 6 mths old , so if I can find the receipt ill take it back . Paul Whiffin
They are indeedy top quality batteries and I've just become an official dealer for them. Give me a shout if you need one.
peter richards
went to look at that red top yesterday , battery was in good condition but the terminals were not in the normal place , they were closer together and in the middle of the battery , so I didn't buy it because I know I have no play on my wires . is this something you guys have come across before , and is it easy to extend the wires , because the battery was good value .
