Tsia
Just coming off the motorway and the Supra has conked out. Trying to start it gets no response at all AA on the way, but that could be a while. Any ideas?

Tsia
No weird sounds, did have the radio on though
tbourner
If you just get a click when you turn the key it's likely a battery thing - whether dead battery or just flat or some other lack of connection I don't know. AA will probably jump start but you'll have to find out why it's dead.

Abz
Double check the battery terminal, can you hear the fuel pump come on? Is the battery a sealed one or one with the things at the top you can top up with water? Could possibly be the alternator... was you at WOT when it happened? naybad
I had the same problem and it was the turbo timer if you have one try taking the power out of the back and see if the car starts.
