Head gasket....or worse 0.o

Hi lads,

 

noticed this evening that there's a little white smoke coming from the exhaust, smelling rather soapy/petroly. Then proceeded to check my coolant, way down at the low mark (damn bottle was stained, looked full recently ) also noticed water dripping from a crack in the midsection of the exhaust. Along with losing a little oil recently I've noticed the car's just not been pulling quite the same, feeling almost rough when I put the foot down.

 

Can someone confirm the worst for me? I gather it's probably the headgasket, or a cracked cylinder head

 

if so, what sort of cost could I be looking at to put it right, either way?

Get some tests done, a sniff test on the coolant would be the first thing to do as its easy

and cheap

 

I think your cars an NA so if the engine has major problems drop

a replacement in as they appear to be very cheap

Yeah im taking her in monday to get it going over. Tbh winters coming up, may be the kick in the backside I need to get a turbo lump swapped in if its more than the gasket.

If your going to change the head gasket make sure the heads checked for being flat, if its warped

over 0.1 mm its pretty much scrap
