Chris Wilson
What ECU? Who mapped it? A 3 month warranty is brave on a "1200 BHP" car...... Does the Manuel gearbox speak English?

Havard
Never mind the ECU and turbo kit. Swapping that bumper would be my first job.
Guest suprageek
Just asked a guy from supra specialists Ireland and he's never seen it before, they do the majority of the supra work in Northern Ireland too!

chris0132
All you have to do is say can we take it to a dyno place should only cost £40 do a quick run on there, if it makes the power than you know its got it and if he doesn't then he may be lying, but it can't hurt plus you should be able to get an idea on what the car has been built like by the dyno graph That's what I'd do
tony tt
If supra specialists Ireland don't know the car I would stay away from it to be honest.
Swampy442
It was dyno'd at Auto Tune Ballymena, does anyone know anyone? Personally Id stay well clear.

Abz
Yep if SSI don't know the car then it ain't worth touching from Ireland, I found the lack of detail on important components a bit of worry... plus the seller appears to be SHOUTING. If you are after a well setup Single Turbo then have you had a look at this? Might be slightly more expensive but just compare the two and see how much better this is! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?296275-1995-MKIV-Supra-TT6-S366-Single-turbo-circa-650-BHP
Gpro
it has 4 fuel pumps!! If its 1200bhp why has he posted a dyno with 847 bhp?
Gpro
I just realised 1000cc RC injectors producing 1200bhp? i swear thats impossible
Tyson
All that money spent and he couldn't even be bothered to put spacers on the rears so they sit right ...... I smell fecal deposits of the bovine variety !! Also no mention of tyre size, rears look like 275 max but more 255 and no mention of brakes either they look like standard 4 pots. Scooter
Aren't we all being a bit negative? Seems to me every members bpu TT6 is always 'worth' at least £10K to everyone on here and yet this is somehow completely dodgy at 4K more. The parts mentioned aren't cheap and would, if i'm not mistaken, fit with a +800bhp motor? so who cares if it's +1000bhp or not when it's the price it is? I personally wouldn't buy anything from someone who isn't 100% truthful about what they are selling, if you claim big figures you should be giving evidence to back it up or as you have seen most people will think you are full of it. It'll put a lot of potential buyers off.

It's certainly priced well, I am just weary of a car for sale which has had £50k spent on it yet not a full list of what & dyno or video of the power claim. Just thinking from a buyers prospective. Scooter
I personally wouldn't buy anything from someone who isn't 100% truthful about what they are selling, if you claim big figures you should be giving evidence to back it up or as you have seen most people will think you are full of it. It'll put a lot of potential buyers off. There is an 800 and something picture and then there is the one attached that rightly or wrongly shows a dyno print out with the line going off the chart ie over 900....may be it's an extrapolation of that? regardless dyno print outs/power claims have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Saying that all the evidence points to a very powerful and high reving supra. It's certainly priced well, I am just weary of a car for sale which has had £50k spent on it yet not a full list of what & dyno or video of the power claim. Just thinking from a buyers prospective. Not everyone who has a high powered car knows or wants to know everything it's got, he's listed the engine internals, ECU, Clutch in fact most things, any gaps you can pick up the phone. 2 mins and you'll tell if he's given money to someone to do the work, done it himself or a bit of both. I'm not saying it's necessarily a great car but I don't see it as an advert riddled with BS in fact on the face of it it's a very high powered car for not a lot of money. Chris Wilson
breaking it for a small fortune of profit would be mine Not sure how you see a small fortune in profit here, by breaking it? Just done a very quick back of fag packet calculation and i don't see this profit myself.
