Benjy
Having had this auto TT for about 5 days, I've just noticed the speedo intermittantly messes about. I think it's after a bit of boostage, when you slow down and just trundle along, the speedo has a little bit of a spaz attack, jumps up a bit, drops off a bit, but then returns to normal. Any ideas? Common thing? My thinking is it could only be speed sensor or clocks? Or possibly the conversion/delimiter chip? Discuss.
Tyson
It's usually a dodgy speed convertor, i'd start there. Could be a loose connection if it is when your boosting though.

That's the odd bit. It's not whilst on boost, but after. It dicks about for about 10 seconds then sorts its life out. I have got a spare converter/delimiter, so at some stage, when I get a chance to fart, I'll swap it over and see what happens.
Benjy
Right. This has come back but now it's more frequent. I've looked at TSRM which informs me of 2 VS sensors. Which one does what? Which one should the delimiter be connected to? And WHY DOES IT KEEP PISSING AROUND!??
Swampy442
The rear one is the speedo and the front one is the gearbox. The de-limiter, in my experience, is between the ECU and the dash, all it does is intercepts and changes the pulse rate. And its probably pissing around because its a low quality unit.
