Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but not new to jap performance having had a skyline and an RX7!!

I've bought a project supra with a 2jz-ge engine with a T61 single turbo fitted. It's maf less, has stand alone day fast pro s40 ecu, vauxhall air temp sensor, top mount turbo manifold, etc etc!

I changed the plugs and got it started but its massively overfuelling, is it a trip straight to the dyno or is there anything I can check first???

I know it could prob be a million things but any help would be appreciated!!

Cheers guys!! 👍😃

Haven't measured yet as engine is struggling to run as so much fuel going through it!!

Just found out a mate has the software for my ecu so gonna have a mooch in that, see what's happening!

I'll post findings on here ASAP!!

Ok, looks like O2 and map senosors are shot!!!! Common apparently on this type of conversion???

Not common that I know of, the std MAP sensor works very well not yet heard of one failing, but I would suspect that it has an aftermarket one fitted given the turbo, O2 sensor only controls closed loop fueling so mostly off boost (you didn't say just where its over fueling?)

Really cant see just why it has a Vauxhall IAT sensor fitted either?

Yea I know what you mean, considering everything else that's on the car if imagine its an aftermarket!!

New O2 sensor going in tomorrow, see what that does!

I've no idea why it's a vauxhall IAT sensor either, hoping someone may be able to shed some light??

It's basically overfuelling even on tickover!!

Personally I would be eliminating the ECU, FPR and injectors in that order if its over fuelling as bad as that, other than that the other thing that would make it over fuel, but not that badly is the ECU coolant temp sensor, if that's faulty it will stay in cold start mode full time, and the default is to run things on the rich side,

However neither this or the lambda sensor will make the engine over fuel very badly.
