Tried bolting an engine mount on as a test…. My fears were confirmed when it didn't clear the downpipe from the first turbo… Officially lost patience with it now.. I can't believe how crap this HKS downpipe fits!!!!

Previously it fitted the waste gate re-circ really badly, so I removed this. I then let the downpipe sit naturally on it's flexi, with no strain on it at all, as it should be. I then made the 2 in to 1 collector for the two downpipes, matching up to the downpipe perfectly. Finally today I re-made the re-circ pipe as in the pictures above.

Gutted it doesn't fit… but it's been shite from the start! Now it's the only part left in mild steel, so I've ordered all the parts to make it in stainless… and just like the other downpipe I made… IT WILL FIT PROPERLY!!!

What a load of crap :( I thought I was all done with the exhaust parts. Bah!

Also, how do you know the collector is in the right place? What with it all being built outside the car?

See the jig I made using my car as reference. :)

That's a shame mate. Keep up the good work ;)

Thanks Luc, chilled out about it now. All the bits to make a new downpipe are on their way.

What radio antenna are you using?

I want to have one of those.

And on that field harness/extension from ECU to original.

Do you know a place that could have just the loose connectors to AEM V2 30-6100? Tried contacted AEM directly, but no answer.

But the car looks killer. :)

Thanks, the adapter is custom made by me. Providing you have pin-outs for an AEM V2 and a supra sat in front of you, you can make any wire match up to any other surely?

Is that number you've quoted a sensor of some kind? In addition, I thought the AEM's had an oem spec connector and were plug and play?
