I did once have a used steering rack in a vice clamped on the small round bush, and was surprised just how much give there was in the rubber. I have contemplated polybushing the whole car, but with it being used as a normal weekend cruising car, It's just the thought of it being uncomfortable over Yorkshires finest roads.
