mellonman
Iirc There are 4 wires at the back of the switch 1=9v 2=earth 3=12v 4=lamp feed You need to put a sorting wire between the 12v and the lamp feed, It was a long time ago when I done this so please double check the connections with a meter first
theredone
Ive only seen 3 wires that go to the dimmer switch :/
mellonman
Maybe it doesnt have the 9v then and just the lamp 12v and earth it was a long time ago lol. I remember the sort had to go on a strainge way to bypass the switch something like the earth to lamp - - - Updated - - - Just try the differntbcombinations worst that will happen is you pop a fuse
