When we where loading the car on the transport truck, suddenly is there was a strange sound when the ear from the gearbox snapped. Does any one have any ideas have some ideas why it happen? If this is weld able materiel for this box? TBDevelopments Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 i agree if this is welded "properly" then it will be stronger than before the weld. Just be careful with the alloy as the heat of the weld can fatigue the other material around is making it more brittle. But like i said if its done "properly" it'll be fine.
