Need new suspension bushes. Any ideas which?

Super pro or R2 racing bushes, if the ball joint is sloppy then its new arms which are quite expensive but the best option. IIRC new rear upper arms are approx £400 each, I priced up renewing all the rear arms a few years back and it worked out about £1800, so I changed all the bushes with R2's instead.

MVP can supply R2 bushes.

Some rate them some hate them.

I replaced all my suspension arms inc the adjusters etc with O/E Toyota and the

parts bill alone was over £3k and that was a few years ago.

If you have a ramp and are really geared up for the job it'll take you a good hard days work

to replace like for like. Maybe longer if you have to cut some off due to the adjusters being seized

and are impossible to get out.

Poly bushes may seem a cheaper option but for the work involved in removing and refitting the new ones, especially on all four corners, you may as well just bite the bullet and buy new arms.

As dnk said, getting the adjusters out is nigh impossible a times, they will also need replacing.

Just came back from my mechanic and it's one of the arms with the balljoint on that needs replacing. That's why it destroyed my tyre and the geometry was out. All the other bushes are fine apparently

Bar the strut rod that fits on the rear all the arms, upper and lower have ball joints, the rear uppers

are the most expensive

Try Keron if your only changing one arm, see if he's got a second hand one

in good condition.
