idle problem idle valve fault ??? not sure im stuck

well where to start :(had a syvecs fitted, and when cold start would take 3 goes to get it started was abit lumpy until gauge was half way and will idle at 1100rpm ?? and would not ajust even on idle screw so i also replaced temp sensor for ecu

ryan sent a map to sort this now starts first time but even when warm can't get revs below 2000rpm and is abit lumpy missing, spoke again to ryan cleaned ICV fully stripped it out and refitted, same fault took air pipe of ICV started car covered air port on valve engine stalled meaning no air leaks into inlet manifold,

when i spoke with ryan we discussed valve when its apart ie have the valve of the body and the head showing with 3 screws around it i was told this should move freely which it does not only when its stripped down,

so i'm soaking it over night and see what happens maybe free up.. also tried it with plug on and ign on no change where to go next:(:(

mate are you sure it was 100% the fic that was causing you an issue ,

are you saying that the syvecs has never run your car correctly since it was fitted ?

are they similar issues to was you was having with the fic ?

has this just started happening ?

is the actual throttle cable too tight?

is the throttle butterfly self cloing on the spring tension ?

the problem i see is that if it is the actual toyota ecu failed/failing then the signals that the syvecs is picking up maybe currupt and making it do this issue ( if it has always done it since fitting )

but if your saying the the throttle butterfly in the throttle body is sticking then that would be why its sticking at 2000rpm.

ryan knows what his is doing and your car is totally in the best hands but if he didnt know of a underline issue with the ecu's from before then it could make things hard to diagnose ,(depending on what signals the syvecs uses ). it may not take any from the stock ecu that affect it but i dont know how interfaced they are.

best of luck with it mate seems be be abit of a pain these last couple of months

see what your saying but never had this with stock ecu or aem only started after syvecs fitted, 3 goes to start and map changed yesterday ..

even with

throttle cable removed, new ecu temp sensor, cleaned icv, checked wiring to each part in eng bay, I think maybe over fuelling as when warmed up then try to restart it struggles and needs some revs, all this occurred after changing map!

do you have the software to change it back to the other map? might be a good start to see if it makes a difference, i expect there maybe something in the map that states 2000 rpm warm up rpm and then once target temp is reached it would drop , so maybe its not getting a temp signal feed back ?

does sound like you might to speak to ryan again mate if its map related

dont know anything about the syvecs at all just guessing thats what it would want to see
