Dnk
Why not get yours re cored
Gpro
You can fit other intercoolers but might need a slight adjustment at the end tanks. I think a greddy one is very similar to the hks ones
Gpro
I just checked online the hks one looks like straight end tanks. In the case most intercoolers will fit
paulj1
Brilliant thanks guys does any one know how much RoughRoughly these are to get recorded? Sorry about spelling touch screen phones and big thumbs don't work
Nic
If it's a HKS Type R FMIC it uses cast end tanks which incorporate the bends to the IC pipes, which is quite unique. If the core is in poor condition, I'd look at getting the end tanks cut off and welded to a new core. http://www.theboostlab.com/store/product_images/u/506/i-b7c6bb4f-9aab-4ba3-98a2-8ce174cd989d-800__90317_zoom.jpg Edited September 4, 2013 by Nic (see edit history)
Dnk
I haven't used them re core any intercoolers but they have done radiators for me which were always very good with no problems. Might be worth a call http://www.readyrads.co.uk Edited September 4, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
