Dave_harman1990
Hi people, just want to double check but upto 500bhp with least lag and most torque I am right in thinking a full 3" system would be best or would anyone recommend a bigger bore? Is there a bhp limit where the 3" cant flow enough so would need a bigger bore? Thanks Dave
chris0132
I'm pretty sure 3" is sufficient to like 700bhp I'm sure I read that on here before
Dave_harman1990
That's good at least makes life easier. Also I cant find the answer but what is the safest bhp do able from the stock 2jzgte Injectors and max figure the clutch can take before slipping baring in mind age use and abuse? J-spec injectors 440cc - just over 400hp UK injectors 540cc - just over 500hp. The stock clutch will cope at BPU levels of performance ie. circa 400hp. Chris Wilson
When I saw the title I thought DavidP would be a likely winner, with his N/A manifold repair sagas No offence David, you know I love you really
Gpro
4" downpipe/midpipe would help with spool and generate more power at the same boost (Proven). Better future proof it if you think you might be going higher hp in the future
