How in god's name did this make it into the Tech section? :(

It started out as a technical discussion, but the motives behind it were shady :)

It deserves to stay in case anyone searches in the future, that way they can see some technical details about it and also the abuse they will get if they try it ;)

okay, its not to all tastes, i may come across as a chav but am far past that stage, i just think its amusing. im not attention seeking, but dont want to have all the same mods and things as everyone else. all i wanted to know if it can be done, any damage etc can be done??

Ok so this engine doesnt have rocker arms but i have onlly just got the supra this afternoon and i dunno whats inside. yes it may be or is completly far diffrent to the sr20, but please, give me time to find this out without being made to look an idiot.

Its not a rant just putting a point across that im stilll learning about this engine, you all started somewhere.....

And it's a good point I totally agree with. We all love the mkiv supra but we all different and do things different ways, would be very boring in if everyone followed same path modding supra

Introducing air into the exhaust system about 12 to 24 inches from the ports, say with a 1/8 to 1/4 inch hole in the downpipe, will usually cause lots of popping and banging on the overrun. A small welded on threaded sleeve will allow you to plug it with a small bolt when you don't want to pop and bang. If the engine was carburetted rather than FI there are other tricks to cause huge explosions. Thankfully it's not carburetted.... :) Nonetheless make my apologies to your neighbours :) I know how to make good stink bombs too, for when you are older. Sorry, but you do come across as someone perhaps a little immature. You have a potentially fine car, why make it into some sort of circus clown car? It deserves better!

Why make an engine pop and bang for no good reason other than to annoy people? It's not a drag race or circuit race turbocharged engine with anti lag, or launch control. Basically he wants to make a lot of noise and attract attention to himself and his car. Annoy the general public. Make a small personal attempt at bringing anti modification legislation a step nearer. Similar to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, over feeding it to bulk it up a bit, putting a brass studded harness on it, strutting about in a hoodie, and pretending it just *MIGHT* be an aggressively trained Pit Bull that's shrunk in the British rain. And bringing more dog legislation on the vast majority of sensible owners.

That bee r has launch control and that's poping and banging is me using launch control at a legal cruise Sunday evening with the permission of the cruise organiser, landowner and the site of cruise was in industrial estate away couple miles away from any house. I don't use the bee r on the roads like a thug or an idiot as know how loud it is!!! So please don't judge me as I haven't posted up saying I go around banging and poping like idiot waking neighbours and being pain to police. Since having bee r have only used it few times when have had permission or at Santa pod when launching off line.

Chris i think your :banghead:

You are right!

Keith, I wasn't directing my remarks to you specifically, I haven't even seen any footage of you making you car pop. "Poping" as you say, but I suspect "poping" is something from the Da Vinci Code and Catholicism, not Santa Pod ;) I'll abandon this now, and leave you to leaky exhausts, Bee R devices, and loose plug leads. Happy poping!

Okay, end this here! To some its very immature to others is frowned upon. That's fair enough. I won't be annoying public etc or anything like that. It's not to make myself feel or look big it's for my own reasons I want one.
