Big turbo kits are dear so was just thinking of running one why i save for a big turbo

It's not just a case of sticking on a turbo mate.

The kit that whiffbits do is one of the best kits available.

If you try do it yourself, even with a cheap turbo you already have you will spend close to that just in various parts alone.

Trust me, I'm currently building one myself.

It's not a cheap kit, but I sourced all the parts myself, but at times wish I just bought the kit from whiffbits.

I'm bored all of these `proper` turbo conversions. People get perfectly good results with lower or mid range components.

Not everyone can afford top end premium components. Why can't people give a varied advice instead of always recommend the best product. I'm so bored of seeing tons of people recommend the same thing when other products have been proven.

The best piece of advice is here: Save and buy a twinturbo. Your always want more power, though NA-t is cheaper than a TT conversion, the need for more power will be limited after 400bhp. Just save for a TT6.

Ignore the reliability nonsense. Two TT swaps have had turbo fails, the last two NA-t remaps have been 4-500bhp. Enough said. But your always want more power, just get a TT and be done with it mate. I wish I did.
