Purity14
So my n/a hasn't been on the road for some time. Last time i drove it the radiator cap broke and went down the radiator, after replacing the cap all was fine for about 2 days before it started overheating again. I parked it up and haven't looked at it since, as i had better things to do. Today i did a compression test to see if the overheating had caused gasket failure.. All cylinders were near enough 170 when cold, I'm happy with that.. They would be higher if the engine was up to temp obviously.. But no cylinder was down on pressure.. So i took the radiator out and found this: So thats obviously goosed. I found a few objects inside the radiator.. which is weird!!! But no sign of the little radiator nipple.. Hmm! Im sure a nice new radiator will fix the problem, how do the ebay radiators hold up? Does anyone recommend one particular type? Hopefully the little nipple from the radiator cap wont pose any future problems..
