Elliot
Can someone please tell me how to re-name a link into one word such as 'here' rather than posting the whole link? Thanks
Kopite
if you press "post reply" (rather than Quick Reply), you'll get the Bold, Italics options etc. There's a hyperlink one, follow that through
wez_p
Can someone please tell me how to re-name a link into one word such as 'here' rather than posting the whole link? Thanks in the preview you will have some 'tags' which are where it has angle brackets around some text, e.g. [ url ] [ /url ] [ url ] is the start tag & [ /url ] is the end tag in the example of a link/url, the text that sits between the tags is the text that appears on the web page, the bit after the equals sign is the actual link example (ignore the spaces): [ URL=http://test.com ] here [ /URL ] this would give an actual link of 'http://test.com' but text on the page would be 'here' hth Wes
