millar11
Does anybody still choose to get these done? As my car is in bits gettin resprayed I thought I'd see how much it would cost to have a slight tint on the windows(which have been removed from car) I was quoted £225 for rear quarters and rear screen, which I thought was quite expensive bearing in mind the widows are already out? Is it worth it?
safcdixon
Thats stupidly expensive, imo should be near half of that.
Big Mark
I had my car done a couple of months ago. Paid £150 for all the windows except the windscreen.

Steve Paine
I got a prohibition notice on my drivers and passenger side windows. Be careful with the density of the tint!
Dim Sum
I always thought it was roughly £30 a corner and yeah have to be very careful with the front window tints.
skippyboyo1
Windows don't need to come out, they cut it on the outside then fit inside. I payed £100 for the rear window and both back windows. If the windows are out the price should be £75 for 3 windows easy!

I was told that the sides on mine were at the limit anyway and they're stock. - - - Updated - - - I had my car done a couple of months ago. Paid £150 for all the windows except the windscreen. Pics? Big Mark
Windows don't need to come out to be tinted. The guy that did mine grades the darkness from 1 to 5 with 1 being lightest. I went for a 2 all round, so technically it's illegal but it looks good.

I went light at the front and dark at the back and being dark grey inside makes them look darker and blends nicely
