Mk4Gaz
I wanted to change the colour of my clock to illuminate red, as I plan to change the LEDs in the heater controls pretty soon. A green clock would've looked odd, so I searched for something suitable as a replacement, and found this: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=400498106456 It turned up yesterday, so I had a play.......... Took the clock out, and dismantled it. Mounted the new parts, and connected the wires to the stock pins, so the original plug would fit in an oem fashion I managed to get the adjustment buttons to align with the original minute and second buttons, so now the minute has become mode, and the second has become set. The temperature probe simply exits the bottom of the casing, for me to run anywhere I choose. At the moment it is by the passenger feet, but I plan to run it through the transmission tunnel gromit to give me an outside temp Here it is lit up, through the various displays: Time Temp Voltage And a quick video to show it in action http://s625.photobucket.com/user/Gary1180/media/20130817_180052_zps13193ed8.mp4.html Edited August 17, 2013 by Mk4Gaz (see edit history)
