prosty
Hi ! I previously had a beatiful 94 LHD Eurospec , I ran a 11.61 Quartermile time with it (BPU with Slicks) So I haaad to get another one after my finances were back to speed after getting a house and two kids This one is a real gem, only 4 owners since new, last owner had it 10 years! So I'm first just getting it back to 2013 with new vaccum hoses, connectors and stuff like that. I had it dynoed before I bought it, 325 WHP @ Mustang Dyno (this is a heartbreaker when it comes to dynos) I got it through MOT with the last owner.. I bought it, drove home 1200km :-) , no issues http://www1.garaget.org/archive/3/2297/334614/large_334614-3175792.jpg Started doing a service, misfire @ idle, new plugs 3330, and a bit of hesitation at WOT, clogged airfilter. Changed those items out, a new Blitz filter to replace the old K&N. Also switched out a few vaccuumhoses so it now runs in TTC (as I know TTC is better when it comes to top end power , what I want :-)) Now the car REALLY pulls. Pretty sure it has ~400 WHP now with this setup. That airfilter was really clogged. http://www1.garaget.org/archive/3/2297/334614/large_334614-3185799.jpg Bought a set of 16" NA wheels from David P here on the forums, will blast them and put a fresh satin black powder coat on them Will switch out a few stuff later on this winter, new brake hoses (goodridge) and TRD engine + tranny mount(s) A goal with this car is a high / mid 11 second time. And to have a good time with it. http://www1.garaget.org/archive/3/2297/334614/large_334614-3198143.jpg Mods so far are: GReddy 3-row intercooler TurboXS BOV (loud as a MoFo (probably switching it to a more quiet one)) RPS Stage III clutch Speed cut controller (a button for it :-)) 3" Custom exhaust with a 200-cell cat Custom made lids and clamps made by the previous owner, pretty nice as you can see on the picture! RH Porsche replica wheels 8.5" front and 10.5" rear , 235/35/18 fronts and 285/30/18 rears , with custom made spacers and lids to the bolts. Really nice work. Max rolled fenders, it's about 25mm wider per side than a normal supra with this roll. Hard to see but when I put it next to a normal supra you can really tell the difference . Stuff I have laying around: Tanabe 80mm Downpipe HKS EVC-5 Stuff I want: Veilside Teardrop!!!!!!!!! :-) TRD engine mounts TRD tranny mount TRD / similar clutch line Goodridge brake hoses CCW wheels An unlimited set of time and money

prosty
Thanks. She's one of the nicest I've seen except my old one (and it's been five years since I last saw that one..) and I've as you know been around the country looking at a lot of LHD Supras. Really tight and well kept car!

prosty
Finished my detailing of the engine bay today. Some more polished details + black VC + coil cover What do you think? https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpa1/t1.0-9/q71/s720x720/10334431_10152461214705259_6316749107322817095_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t1.0-9/q71/s720x720/10371724_10152461214805259_5171412396951321200_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/t1.0-9/q71/s720x720/10348374_10152461214840259_3984941587117453204_n.jpg

prosty
BPU isn't the easiest job getting a good looking engine bay but in my opinion this is one of the more better looking BPU engine bays. Just want black hoses and details for next year.
Luxluc
I would go for a stealthy look with a black Supra ... black hoses allround
prosty
I'm thinking the same thing, I just bought this car (not owned for a year even) so more other things are important than hoses . But I will do it!
DaveR
Very tidy, mate, I like it For what it's worth I like the blue in the engine bay...
prosty
Yeah if it had been awful I would have swapped it out already Really liking the polished items , the previous owner did most of the lids himself! Bought a few from some known sources but I still think this is one of the best looking BPU engine bays.
DaveR
I reckon it just needs a splash of carbon to really finish things off. I'm thinking slam panel, scuttle panel and spark plug cover...
