In need of some help - induction kit

Im in need of some help....

 

I had this induction kit lying around, however its toooooo small and it looks STUPID.

 

 

Now im going to the 20th anniversary meet on the 26th when I buy the ticket tomorrow however I cant turn up with the current induction kit as its embarrassing.

Im just wondering if this is a good purchase and whether it will cause issues with my turbo smart BOV?

won't cause problem with your turbosmart BOV.

 

although alot of people do rate the stock airbox on the BPU Supra because of its cold feed intake. and isn't a restrction

I made my own as i refuse to pay stupid money for a crap filter and short bit of bent pipe.

 

Apexi or K&N filters are way better than the old HKS one in that kit.

 

I bought my Apexi filters from http://www.frsport.com way cheaper than anywhere else and i got very

service from them

The proper way to do it is to have an enclosed, ducted box feeding cold air from outside the engine bay into the intake system. The best way to do this is with the stock airbox, but there are other solutions too, especially if you're handy with metalwork.
