Dnk
I'd start with the obvious parts first What state is the distributor cap in (inside) ? are the ht leads in need of replacing ? the plugs ? are the injectors working correctly ? Do a leak down/ compression test as well Do the plugs that get wet work in the cylinders that don't get wet Edited August 14, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
Guest jvanovich
The distributor cap is ok no obvious problems, i ve tested the plugs and they are ok too and the injectors work like a dream. I will make the compression test and i will switch the plugs like you said and see what happens. Thanks!
Guest jvanovich
here is a video with my not working car and throws a lot of gas on exhaust
Tricky-Ricky
If its showing two wet plugs and its still sparking on those plugs its almost certainly a couple of stuck open injectors.
Guest jvanovich
And which could be the reason that they are stuck open? And should i unmount and clean them or what can i do?
trebor69
Have you had your distributor out ? I have had mine out a few times and if not put back exactly right (1 tooth out) then it sounds like yours .....just a thought.
Guest jvanovich
No i didn`t touch anything. I was drivig with almost 80km/h when the check engine got on and after that misfired a few times and it does like in the video above. I didn`t touch anything. P.S Sometimes, before this problem, the check engine light got on and the car worked right and after a while (1 minute) the light turned off. I thought it was a sensor. Ian C
Check your MAF sensor by the air filter box. It may be unplugged or broken, so the ECU is overfuelling and causing your problems. - - - Updated - - - Changed the thread title to something more meaningful
