mplavery
It does not really bother me how much money I spend on my car, any hobbie can be expensive . If I was not i to cars I would most likely be more focused on guitars, there is one guitar I would love which costs £8k lol Edited August 8, 2013 by mplavery (see edit history)

Pig
I wouldn't recommend anyone doing this exercise. My amount is sickening! I could have bought a new RS4 for the amount I have spent. Excluding fuel and insurance!

Homer
On my old Supra, I stopped counting once it got to £26k, not including the car price That was over 5 years of ownership On the current one, it's probably around £1k over 3.5 years and most of that has been spent on wheels and tyre's. The car was built from a shell with most parts donated for next to nothing from the wonderful forum members
tooquicktostop
I beg your pardon?! 12 years of Investment banking bliss, still I have a pub/restaurant and hotel now, you should see my VAT bill !!
Chris Bailey
I wouldn't like to think how much dad has spent on the supra! Oh well its only money
DaveR
If we're going for raw figures, my magic number (including purchase of the car but excluding tyres, insurance, tax and fuel) is £45 - 50k... Clearly you could arrive at my current spec much more cheaply than that but my Suki's been done in stages, which means some money effectively gets spent twice. Thing is, if I could do it all again from scratch... I would.
tooquicktostop
The current car is the best I have had, I was just chatting to Paul Whiffin and saying that after 7 Supra's I finally have a car that works as it should every day, its been a great build, Garage Whifbitz really did do a great job, you get what you pay for

Guest Budz86
I'm guessing with my TT it has been 23k including the car and the NA was around 8k I'm guessing, and I'm only in my 4th year of ownership! Spent about 8k on the TT this year alone!

Morpheus
I keep all of my petrol receipts for each vehicle but daren't add them all up and calculate the overtime I worked to pay for it or I'd probably become a lone nut assassin and take out a few oil exec's. Hypothetically, of course.
