Dan_Turism0 Posted August 5, 2013 Share Posted August 5, 2013 seems to be conflicting info on this,, the other year it failed on emissions, because it was being tested as a uk spec GTE, i pointed out this was not right to the workshop foreman, and then it was re tested as a default car(not on database) and passed. no conflict of opinion as far as i'm aware one is right and one is wrong it's just some MOT testers aren't blessed with brains and seem to think that the import TT's have a different engine to the UK's Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Exhaust control valve is a manual or automatic valve that reduces the flow in the exhaust much like the throttle body butterfly valve. This makes it not so loud when you pull the lever.
