Just a quick note following a thread on this. Should anyone be limited with the CC to 70-75, whatever the Jap stock is, try calling MEC on 01327 858000 in Silverstone / guy that owns this place is an ex test driver for Jag and other race teams / now imports MX5's and GT4's MR2 T's / got my Sup from him. My Jap TT will take CC set to 110/100. Simple proceedure to.

Best regards

Chris:)

It's all on the TRL Performance web site - see above. You need to take the dash panelling out but don't be put off, the Supra is very user friendly here, there's just a lot of it. If you haven't done it before, the dash front comes off leaving all the instruments in place. It's all built with coloured multi-pin plugs, so it's easy to put back together.

Thanks guys, just had a look at the pics and it seems like I could locate it easily enough (and have had the dash out before so am not scared to do that).

My only concern is finding the conversion unit used on my car as it was not done with TRL's kit (I assume). Will I have a similar box to the DSC that I need to locate the output of the speed converted so that I can feed it into the cruise. I assume I cut the purple wire and feed the connector with the new signal.

Sorry if I'm talking crap, I may have misunderstood the instructions.

Yes. Although I thought it was Pink (Maybe my camera colour isn't quite right)

and to locate the correct wire to use from your converter.

1/ First find the converter (probably behind the speedo head)

2/ locate the wire from your box going to your speedo that feeds to the same point as the white wire on the DSC diagram does

3/ use this wire to connect to the connector side of the Cruise plug, leaving the loom side disconnected.

Looking at the DSC wring diagrams you'll see the correct PIN to locate the wire to on the CRUISE plug.

It should be a Pink with silver band wire. But whatever the colour it's the pin location that is the key.

Regards

Pete
