ronttuk
Where do you re locate the expansion bottle or is there a smaller alternative? Also where do you mount the active spoiler motor when FMIC is fitted ? Sometimes you wish you just left things alone !!
Guest aspire
iirc active spoiler no good with fmic. i think you need the alloy expansion tank, locates in front of battery
ronttuk
I know i cant have a working active spoiler but I thought I had to leave the motor connected otherwise the deadly triangle lights up all the time correct me if i am wrong
Littler
The motor is what's in the way for the FMIC piping iirc, the red triangle is solved by removing the active spoiler ecu thats behind the stereo
ronttuk
Thanks Littler seems that's the way to go then

listy
I have a smaller expansion bottle above the FMIC, covered by a IC Plate. Not sure what it's from, but there are plenty of options out there.

sideexitsupra
I got hold of one from JohnD on here that sat between the battery and headlight. He makes the odd batch now and again.

Thomas_germany
I went to junkyard and got a smaller expansion bottle off an old Peugeot 106, that fits on top of the fmic. This weekend I saw a supe with cutomized IC-Piping so the fmic sits more in the front. He still had the stock bottle on top of it and still had the fan between the fmic and the radiator. ronttuk
Does anyone know what the active spoiler ecu looks like as there's several boxes that look like ecu behind the radio

Steve Paine
SRD sell an expansion bottle that fits in front of the battery and tidies everything up!
ronttuk
I got one off a Honda Civic fits perfectly between the battery and the washer bottle
Rich.2211
I just moved the stock one, used the factory bracket as well - it took 2 minutes and cost me one M6 bolt, two washers and a Nyloc nut. Bargain! It sits pretty much stock location just a little further down and a little further back (I have deleted air con radiator though which thinking about it is why more people probably don't do it this way). ronttuk
Couldn't do without aircon.
Rich.2211
Couldn't do without aircon. It is a pain having to hold the button down for three seconds whilst the window fully opens I must admit, as oppose to the half second it takes to press the A/C button. Those 2.5 seconds really add up!

Guest aspire
I did so I guess its unplug the battery to reset it no that work im afraid, you need to make a link up and goto diagnostic port and touch one terminal while intermittentley touching the error code, there is a link to do this and its a right pita, or goto toyota and clear that way
