rob_sri
Maybe 245... Don't know yet will need to do some research...! Anyway I test fitted then.. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/zevequba.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/8a3a4u4e.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/eruzyzab.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/zatygy2e.jpg Edited December 4, 2013 by rob_sri (see edit history)
rob_sri
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/05/u3a8aqyr.jpg Close fit looks like some arch rolling may be needed...!
mattdavies
If they are 9.5 I wouldn't run anything more then a 255 I think a 245 would just give you a few extra mm under the arch
rob_sri
Yeah they are 9.5.. Want them on a fairly lowish profile and a bit of stretch if possible any ideas what that would be anyone?
mattdavies
235\35 front and 245\35 back

Rich.2211
et38 mate I ran 18" 9.5J ET30 all round for a short while with 235/40 front tyres and 255/35 rear tyres. They just cleared on the rear and wouldn't rub on the front unless you went mega low. That was with stock arches. In the end I actually had the rear arch lips trimmed and spaced the rears 10mm. skippyboyo1
Nice looking wheels. Worse case just extend the arches slightly
rob_sri
I do like the trd front.. So that maybe an excuse in the future think with some modded blitz skirts I probably will end up spacing the back a little more though definitely to bring them out a bit
rob_sri
hmm now im thinking 255/35 rear and 245/35 front.. i dont want too much stretch and risk ruining the handling.. but i want to be able to go nice and low when i get my coils in the next few months
mattdavies
245 will be a nice stretch for the rear and then 235 will be fine for the front

Don't get me wrong, I know nothing about handling and have never done a track day but the car felt awesome with great feedback. It actually felt more precise than with the 255/35/18 R888's I have up front now. However, the R888's grip much, much better - especially when they're warm

They were rubbish at Santapod but I think that's because they were cold. On the private test track though, once they're warm, they're brilliant - transform the car as I can get power in every gear. However, I really could do with four new tyres for next year so I will be reverting back to a road tyre Going for a 295 in the rear though so should still get some power down - - - Updated - - - As for Curborough.. I'm game.. Even if I have to do it in my new winter runabout
Rich.2211
Oooh.. BC coilovers... I rate them very well. Only had a short experience as I sold the car not long after but they seemed very good. Adjustable from spine breaking down to something on par with the stock Bilsteins. Steering felt heavier.. but better. Felt more planted round corners oppose to the stock Bilsteins. I get a bit of a knocking when i foot it at the moment and the springs look a bit crap and in need of a refresh!
