MarcusEJ
Hello guys as you will see from the new members section I am new and eager. I want to buy the hks ssqv BOV however where is the best place?? Obviously my first thought was eBay however there are a few fake ones knocking around so wondering other supra owners experience with this. Also does the toothpaste on the headlight trick actually work? cheers guys
supra joe
Do not buy ebay crap, 99.9% of the time it's fake and fails costing you dearly, and use some G3 compound
Littler
Any paritcular reason for wanting the HKS? Are you on the stock twins? A good mild deminishing abrasive polish will work wonders on them

Abz
Abz whats the best method to use? For the toothpaste? I just applied it onto the headlight & once it hazed I went over it with a clean cloth, IIRC as it was quite a few years ago. I ended up changing them to glass headlights as I was fed up of cleaning them... twice
TheTurtleshead
Toothpaste is slightly abrasive, so if you want to give it a go, apply and work it with a cloth. You'll probably then need to polish it back up to clear. The best method imo is to wetsand them with 2k grit wet and dry, then buff with a machine polisher and some compound.
