Mk4Gaz
I'd like to know this also, and, where the best place to get a replacement is - that won't cost the earth!

Mk4Gaz
I can't see it being too difficult Pete, although naturally you'll want to make your system is totally empty before you undo any joints. Just new gaskets and o rings I'd guess would be good advice, and once the front bumper is out of the way, should be fairly straight forward It looks like the cooling rad and viscous fan will need removing, to get to the condenser brackets, so budget in a coolant top up/bleed. I too found a place in the USA for new ones, but fear it could arrive in poor shape, and import duty might make it become expensive.

Rich.2211
Not difficult to swap out you just need to remove a fair few bits to get to it.
peter richards
I suppose that's where the time is then , and that's without any problems coming up
