SupraLEDrears
Hi Guys so I have had an oil lead but thought it was the gearbox as it's wet on the bell housing but today I started her up and saw where a drop of oil was forming in that hole. Is there supposed to be a bolt in there? It's on the rocker cover on a 93 na manual. Thanks
Rich.2211
I can't quite tell from the pictures but are your cam cover seals weeping oil which is then dripping down and filling that hole as well as onto the bell housing? If so, try checking the cam covers are actually tight as the bolts work loose or better still replace the cam cover seals.

DodgyRog
X3 for Cam Cover leak The bolt are a very low Torque and have a habit of coming loose and they are probably the original Gaskets, so go to Toyota and get some new ones, there were about £40 from memory
Guigsy
Yeah the cam covers always leak. Mine have leaked down the back of the block and into the bellhousing giving me a scare something was more seriously wrong. But after a bit of investigation it was just the cam cover seals. Don't over tighten them though. They are low torque for a reason. You can easily crack the cam covers.
The Raven
I dont know what these fools are talking about, I think it will be the cam cover seals, all 3 of mine have leaked until i changed them
Konrad
Do not listen to them! I'm sure it is actually cam cover seals leak, a bit fiddly to change but doable if you are reasonable with tools and silicone
