ScottC
Just doing some work to the supra and came across this dangling in front of the air con rad next to the horn. Looks like a sensor with a plastic clip, any ideas what it should be attached too?
marc_p
Common to be left dangling on NA-TT's as there is no mounting point on the N/A chassis.

Rich.2211
Common to be left dangling on NA-TT's as there is no mounting point on the N/A chassis. I've got one on my NA, it's fitted (clips into) to the front crash bar. Looks standard fit as far as I'm aware
hodge
There's a hole for it on the bottom of the crash bar if you still have that in place.
straightsix
Why does a supra have a exterior temp sensor with no display to display it? Are my missing something here It's ambient external air temp - It's needed for the climate control and the UK spec temp display clock.
Chris Wilson
The engine ecu does not use this sensor, as straightsix says, the air con unit reads it, and on UK, European / US spec cars, the external air temp display in the time clock also reads it.
