listy
I know some people have swapped the nasty old black intake pipe from the air filter for some nice shiny SS piping, with silicone couplers. The question I have is......how much did you use (length)? I'm thinking once a 45 degree silicone coupler and then a joiner also is in there, I'd need around 2 feet of pipe (to be on the safe side). I would just measure it, but I'm not with the Supra right now
Bossco
I have 2 90 degree bends welded together and the weld dressed properly to hide the join. With the filter and silicone hose removed its less than 2 foot long. It's almost exactly the same length as the stock pipe.
listy
How long is the stock pipe though? I don't want to end up short is the only thing.
Bossco
Not sure, my stock pipe went in the bin. I'll measure it tomorrow mate.

Bossco
If you use your own 45 degree elbow you will need around 14" length. This gives enough pipe to fit inside the elbow and attach to a filter.
listy
Sweet. Cheers dude. I'll be using two 45 degree silicone couplers, so I'll just make it work lol
