mac79
Hi Has anyone ever run a japspeed exhaust on a TT. Was it any good? How did it sound? Thanks Mac
marc_p
I've had a couple of Japspeed products and they have both turned out to be absolute sh1te(although neither was an exhaust system), I would recommend looking elsewhere personally. Dan_Turism0
fitted one to the gf's GT4 and that's been fine and has a nice tone
drift_bear
I ran a japspeed exhaust on my old 200sx S14, sounded awesome! A lot of the s-bodies use the japspeed stuff
dan294
Had a Japspeed Cat Back exhaust on my Impreza P1. The "stainless steel" tailpipe started to get rust spots withing about 2 months. You get what you pay for I suppose; they are cheap.
Nic
Never used one but from what I've read they tend to be LOUD.
chris0132
Had one on my mr2 and it was crap sounded nice but the weld that joined the 2 boxes blew after about 1k miles wasn't impressed with the quality of the metal

Tsia
As above, sounded like "beep", fit like "beep". Came on my '2 when I bought it. :| Edited July 26, 2013 by listy Swearing (see edit history)
mac79
I thought as much. Lad at work has got one on his evo 4 and it sounded a bit rough. I shall have to wait and find something better.
Dan_Turism0
the gf's GT4 must just be lucky then
Iky
Brother has one on his N/A, it's loud as hell (as expected on n/a) Only problem I noticed, is they rust at the welds. Fair enough, you can't see it unless you get under the car. Cheap and cheerfull I'd say.

They have a funny tip shape. I absolutely love my Blitz, Usually have the bung in unless I feel like ragging it. Mac, I would save up and buy a better system. One that has a removeable bung. Nic
If you're on a budget, I'd look for a good quality 2nd hand, branded, stainless steel exhaust in the Classifieds section. Alternatively you could speak to Paul at Whifbitz about the exhausts he sells. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php/garage-whifbitz-35208.html http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/index.php/garage-whifbitz-1448.html
