safcdixon
Wilwoods were always considered very good upgrade when i was a ford owner, plenty of cossies and rst's etc running them so they must be good brakes, ive no personal experiance but never heard anything bad about them
darrenlee1981
You always question a product when it's a good £300 cheaper than the next set of bigger brakes. But that's good feedback, thanks.
Iky
I can reccomend Dan @ DB Power, well known guy on the 200sx forums. Great customer service.
Abz
I had Wilwood brakes setup on a Honda Civic Coupe with a H22 engine swap. Found them to be very good, not sure how they would fair on the Supra but my experience of them have been good.

darrenlee1981
Brakes are currently just JSpec front and rear
Nic
Brakes are currently just JSpec front and rear Will you be upgrading the rears as well?
mattdavies
Would pay the £50 for the DS2500 pads
bignum
They`d be a good upgrade from jspec 2 pots but not really an upgrade from 4 pots, 2 problems with wilwoods is no dust seals and caliper flex (i did read up a few months back) as i was going to change to these so i could use performance friction pads, i spoke with 1 of our racecar guru`s from here and he put me off wilwoods full stop. darrenlee1981
Should I upgrade the rears? Will you be upgrading the rears as well?
Nic
Should I upgrade the rears? Yes if you want to keep the front/rear brake bias balanced then the rear brakes should be matched to the fronts. Just fitting larger brakes on the front will put more of the braking force through the front tyres, this will cause the fronts to lock up before the rears. If you want to upgrade your brakes, I'd personally go with a set of the standard larger Supra brakes front and rear.
Gpro
Why upgrade to ds2500?? They are excellent pads but useless after 1-2 hard brakes. Used them before on 6 pot 356mm discs excellent cold bite brilliant pad but useless after few hard brakings. Sayong that i never used yellow stuff aint sure what they are like I guess depends what type of driving you do Edited July 25, 2013 by Gpro (see edit history)
